2013 Hunting Seasons & Rates
Being an exclusive rights outfitter allows us to offer open seasons for hunting within our territory for several species at times when the season is closed in the rest of the zone.
Whether choosing to hunt within our exclusive territory or on the surrounding public land, we have included the open season dates for both to help you plan your trip. You will notice several species have overlapping seasons allowing for a trip of a lifetime where you can hunt deer, bear and moose all within the same week!
Sorry, but pets are not allowed at Mer Bleue.

Since taking over the lodge 3 years ago, we have consistently averaged at least a 90% viewing rate and 80% harvesting rate for bears. Each year we have harvested bears over 300 lb's with the average size being roughly 200 lb's.

Above pricing is per person, not including taxes, licences or permits. Minimum double occupancy for small game or 4 for big game.
Includes: accommodation and hunting rights ( fishing rights, boat, motor and 1st tank of gas where specified).
** 6th adult is free for moose and deer hunting packages.

ONTARIO HUNTING PACKAGES
Deer Hunting
$1000/person (minimum 4 people) for hunting rights on private land.
Archery (including crossbows) - Oct. 1st to Dec. 31st
Rifle - Nov. 11 to 17th
Muzzleloader - Dec. 2 to 8th
QDMA harvest standards in effect ie. Min. 3.5 year old (8 pt. Min.) buck harvest.
Accomodation in rustic hunt camp is included in this semi-guided hunt.
Wild Turkey Huntiing
$300/person for fully guided turkey hunt per day.
$500 for two hunters over one day.
Includes accomodation in rustic hunt camp and breakfast.
$50.00 "no gobble no see guarantee" Ie. If you or your guide don't either hear or see a turkey you get $50 refunded.
Above prices do not include applicable taxes or licences/permits. Minimum group size of 4 for deer hunting, max. 10.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to book all hunts/trips and must be paid by cash or cheque with the remainder due in cash or certified cheque upon arrival.
